Email Setup Instructions
Use the following settings to configure your email account in various email clients.
Replace your-username@lodcustomer.com
with your actual email address and
mail.lodcustomer.com
with your mail server address.
- Open Microsoft Outlook
- Go to File → Add Account
- Select Manual setup or additional server types and click Next
- Choose POP or IMAP and click Next
- Fill in the following information:
- Your Name: Your display name
- Email Address: your-username@lodcustomer.com
- Account Type: IMAP
- Incoming mail server: mail.lodcustomer.com
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.lodcustomer.com
- User Name: your-username@lodcustomer.com
- Password: Your email password
- Click More Settings → Outgoing Server tab
- Check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
- Go to Advanced tab and set:
- Incoming server (IMAP): 993
- Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL/TLS
- Outgoing server (SMTP): 465
- Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL/TLS
- Click OK and then Next to test the connection
- Open Windows Mail app
- Click Add account
- Select Other account (POP or IMAP)
- Enter your email address:
your-username@lodcustomer.com
- Enter your password
- Click Sign in
- If automatic setup fails, click Advanced options
- Select Let me set up my account manually
- Choose IMAP as the account type
- Configure the following settings:
- Incoming email server: mail.lodcustomer.com
- Port: 993
- Security: SSL/TLS
- Outgoing email server: mail.lodcustomer.com
- Port: 465
- Security: SSL/TLS
- Click Sign in
- Open Gmail in your web browser
- Click the Settings gear icon → See all settings
- Go to the Accounts and Import tab
- In the "Check mail from other accounts" section, click Add a mail account
- Enter your email address:
your-username@lodcustomer.com
- Click Next
- Select Import emails from my other account (POP3)
- Enter your password
- Configure the following settings:
- Username: your-username@lodcustomer.com
- POP Server: mail.lodcustomer.com
- Port: 995
- Security: SSL
- Choose your preferences for:
- Leave a copy of retrieved messages on the server
- Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving mail
- Label incoming messages
- Click Add Account
- To send emails from this account, follow the SMTP setup instructions in the next step
- Open the Outlook mobile app
- Tap Add Account or the + icon
- Select Add an email account
- Enter your email address:
your-username@lodcustomer.com
- Enter your password
- If automatic setup fails, tap Advanced
- Select IMAP as the account type
- Configure the following settings:
- Incoming mail server: mail.lodcustomer.com
- Port: 993
- Security: SSL/TLS
- Outgoing mail server: mail.lodcustomer.com
- Port: 465
- Security: SSL/TLS
- Username: your-username@lodcustomer.com
- Tap Sign in
- Open your web browser
- Navigate to your webmail portal at https://webmail.lodcustomer.com (replace with your actual domain)
- Enter your login credentials:
- Username: your-username@lodcustomer.com
- Password: Your email password
- Click Sign In or Login
- You should now have access to your email through the web interface
